I WOKE UP

I woke up at 4.45 am  and I joined expression class. After that I took bath at 6.45 am, before that Ican and I exercised and got breakfast. I joined vocabulary class with Mr. Azis. When class was over , I did micro- teaching about  simple past, simple present  and simple future. The next class was pronounciation class with Mr. Ahmad.  After that, I found some food with Mr Izal, before speaking 2 class I took a rest. And after then, I went to my campus, I taught taekwondo until 8.00 pm. After that, I went to my boarding house and I took my stuff because I felt tired, I slept at my bording house before I slept, I edited my blog. And next day, I went to Rumah inggris at 6.35 am.

Darmajaya-UTEM Malaysia Sepakat Jalin Kerjasama

BANDARLAMPUNG---Untuk makin menguatkan posisi Informatics and Business Institute (IBI) Darmajaya sebagai salah satu Perguruan Tinggi Swasta yang layak diperhitungkan di tingkat internasional, IBI Darmajaya kembali mengajak universitas dari luar negeri  yaitu University Teknologi Malaka Malaysia (UTeM) untuk bekerjasama. Kerjasama tersebut tertuang dalam Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) yang merupakan tindaklanjut dari penandatanganan Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) tahun 2008 lalu. Dengan adanya kerjasama dengan salah satu Perguruan Tinggi Negeri di Malaysia ini maka dimungkinkan mahasiswa, dosen, dan karyawan yang ingin meningkatkan kompetensi dan kemampuan akademik dapat menuntut ilmu di UTeM Malaysia dengan biaya yang sangat terjangkau. Selain itu, kerjasama tersebut juga memungkinkan IBI Darmajaya dan UTeM Malaysia bekerjasama secara kelembagaan untuk meningkatkan kualitas kegiatan collaboration research, training, workshop, dan lain sebagainya. Penandatanganan MoU dilaksanakan kemarin  bertempat di Ruang rektor  IBI Darmajaya. Penandatanganan dihadiri oleh 5 delegasi dari Malaysia yaitu Prof. Dr. Ahmad Yusoff Bin Hasan, Vice Chancellor UteM, Datuk Profesor Dr. Mohd. Nor Bin Husen, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Bidang Akademik dan Pengantarbangsaan), Prof. Dr. Shahrin Bin Sahib Sahibuddin, Dekan Fakultas Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (FTMK),  Prof. Dr. Nanna Suryana Herman, Direktor Of International Office UTeM, dan Puan Sharifah Nur Faridah bte Syed Abu Bakar, Principal Assistant Registra UTeM. Sementara itu dari IBI Darmajaya dihadiri oleh Dewan Pembina Yayasan Pendidikan Alfian Husin, Hi Alfian Husin, SH, Rektor IBI Darmajaya, DR. Andi Desfiandi, SE, MA, Wakil Rektor I Darmajaya, RZ Abdul Aziz, ST, MT, Wakil Rektor II Darmajaya, Ary Meizary Alfian SE, MBA, dan Wakil Rektor III, Sriyanto, S.Kom. MM.  Rektor IBI Darmajaya, Andi mengungkapkan, kerja sama itu akan dapat memberikan kesempatan para dosen maupun mahasiswa Darmajaya  untuk menempuh pendidikan di UTeM. Selain itu, dalam MoA juga membuka kesempatan diadakannya kerja sama di bidang penelitian. ’’Adanya kerja sama Darmajaya dan UTeM ini merupakan hal menarik dan bermanfaat. Karena  nantinya dapat diadakan pelatihan untuk para dosen, serta pertukaran mahasiswa. Selain itu  kerja sama bidang penelitian,’’ kata Rektor UteM, Ahmad Yusoff. Menurutnya  ada beberapa hal membuat UTeM tertarik. Di antaranya, Darmajaya yang terletak di Sumatera masih serumpun dengan Malaysia yang memiliki budaya hampir sama.  Selain itu sebagai Universitas ternama di Sumatera Bagian Selatan, Darmajaya memiliki kehangatan sikap dengan pihak luar, dan memiliki kekuatan yang memungkinkan diajak kerja sama. ’’ UTeM memiliki beberapa kelebihan,  hingga saat ini UTeM merupakan perguruan tinggi negeri unggulan di Malaysia, yang memiliki keunggulan di bidang teknologi  oleh sebab itu kita tidak ragu lai memilih UTeM sebagai mitra kerjasama luar negeri. Kedepannya nanti melalui kerjasama ini, kita akan membuka kerjasama dengan Negara lainnya di Asia diantaranya Thailand, Brunei,  dan China. Dalam era globalisasi, kompentensi dan kemampuan Bahasa Inggris yang dimiliki oleh alumni tidaklah cukup. Tetapi juga dibutuhkan sertifikat dan ijazah yang diakreditasi oleh dunia internasional. Hal inilah yang mendasari mengapa kami melakukan kerjasama internasional dengan berbagai Universitas di dunia. Tahap awal kami telah melakukan kerjasama internasional diantaranya dengan beberapa perguruan tinggi di Malaysia, yaitu Higher Education Learning Philosofy (HELP) University College (HUC) Malaysia dan kini dengan University Technology Malaysia Malaka (UTeM),” terang Andi.(**)
